The Reign of the King is set in the British Isles during the time of King Arthur. Find legendary Commanders such as Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, Morgana, and many more. Manage your armies, recruit new units, and expand your rule.

The game features the Rise of Arthur Campaign where players must defeat Arthur and claim the throne. The Witch Morgana where the players must defeat Morgana and bring peace to the land. Conquest Mode allows players to fight for control over the isles.

The Character Campaigns are 1-2 player games. They take roughly 30 minutes to play through.

Conquest Mode is a 2-4 player game in the vein of Risk.

The Reign of the King pits players against King Arthur or Morgana in the base game. These two are formidable adversaries the players must defeat. Players can choose to fight each other or focus on bringing down the threat. Remember though the player that conquers the target is the winner. However, Every 2 turns the armies of Arthur or Morgana grow in size making final defeat much more difficult.

Players can amass great armies by using the gold they gain through taxes to hire new units of Peasants, Soldiers, or Knights. Also conquering unclaimed provinces allows players to pull a reward card. These can be Units or Commanders. Commanders are the most powerful units you can acquire.
